McLaren – The Dynasty Begins profiles the man behind it all, Aucklander Bruce McLaren, was a brilliant driver, with vision that extended far beyond the driver's seat. He became the engineer, the inventor, the constructor, the tester. Bruce McLaren took the essence of the New Zealand Edge and transformed it into arguably the greatest motor racing team in history.
Joined by Denny Hulme in 1968, together the fellow New Zealanders enjoyed great success until McLaren's death in 1970 but McLaren had created an unparrelled team ethos and loyalty that saw Hulme build a new model McLaren in 72 and oversee the creation of the McLaren dynasty until his death in 1992.
This DVD tells the story of the rise to fame of the two great New Zealand drivers.
